Web3 UNILAG is a student-led blockchain organization within the University of Lagos. Inspired by the principles of "educate, innovate, connect," we strive to inform, connect, and spearhead blockchain advancements. Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the dynamic world of decentralization, cryptography, and blockchain technology. By fostering a thriving community of enthusiasts, learners, and innovators, we empower members to actively explore and contribute to the development of Web3 and related blockchain solutions.

We strive to cultivate a vibrant community of learners, innovators, and enthusiasts, fostering an environment where members actively explore and contribute to developing Web3 and other blockchain technologies
Currently, not many people in our large university community understand “blockchain technology”. Our goal is to bridge this knowledge gap so that more people can understand and take advantage of blockchain's benefits. By tackling this widespread ignorance on campus, we equip our members with the know-how and abilities needed to thrive in the rapidly changing technology sector.
Given the lack of understanding and enthusiasm for blockchain technology, providing comprehensive knowledge to college students is our top goal. The goal is to develop a culture of knowledgeable people who can use blockchain technology to address real-world problems and advance technology in Africa.

AGUDA TOLUWANI
PRESIDENT
Aguda is a Web3 specialist with practical experience in DAO operations and tooling, community moderation, social media management, research, and technical writing that he has acquired through working with numerous organizations. Seeking to help build decentralized work with DAOs. He has worked with different DeFi and DeSci DAOs including ResearchHub and The Graph.
GBIRI OLUWASEUN
VICE-PRESIDENT
Specializing in legal and governance operations within the Web3 space, Gbiri Oluwaseun (Olokoji) boasts over 2 years of experience across diverse DAOs and protocols such as Aragon DAO, Bankless Legal Guild, and Airswap, contributing his expertise to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape and ensure compliance within decentralized ecosystems. He serves as the Vice President of Web3UNILAG, leveraging his knowledge and skills to drive initiatives and foster growth within the community.
